Im not a n00b or anything but in adventure mode i cant fish (my skill on fishing is over 100) what is wrong with it???

when he got such an high fishing skill he normally doesn't need bait. But how did you get this skill without fishing anyway?

If the screen says "fishing" and you don't get anything after the time: Are you sure your fishing skill in the game is over 100? The skills aren't saved to the adventure mode from other singleplayer games(custom maps and random islands).
